Human-Computer Interaction · University of Melbourne
I'm an Associate Professor in the Human-Computer Interaction Group at the University of Melbourne. My research spans social computing, crowdsourcing, human-centred AI and mixed reality.
About
Before joining the Human-Computer Interaction Group at the University of Melbourne, I worked at the University of Oulu in the Center for Ubiquitous Computing. I received a PhD with distinction (2015) in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Oulu, and a BSc (2009) and MSc (2011) in Computer Science and Engineering from the Madeira Interactive Technologies Institute, University of Madeira, under the Carnegie Mellon University | Portugal partnership.
My work regularly appears at CHI, CSCW, IMWUT and other leading HCI venues, and has been recognised with multiple best paper and honourable mention awards.
